How the game works

On biathlon.fun you predict the top 5 of every race in the Biathlon World Cup. The closer your prediction is to the official IBU result, the more points you get.

Before the season
Submit your season predictions: the top 5 of the men's and women's overall World Cup plus single questions such as the overall winner or the best German. Season predictions are open until the first race of the season.
Before every race
Predict the top 5 of the race in the right order. In individual races such as sprint, pursuit, individual and mass start you pick athletes, in relays and mixed relays you pick nations. You can change your prediction any time until the race starts. The official start list is only available once it is published, and athletes can still drop out at short notice, for example due to illness. So check your prediction shortly before the start.
After the race
As soon as the official IBU result is in, your points are calculated and the leaderboards are updated: overall, in your groups and against the experts.

How points are awarded

For each of your five predicted places, what counts is how far the actual finish differs from your prediction. You can score up to 25 points per race.
